A skiing trek to a husky farm.

An activity for those who want to experience Nordic skiing through the peaceful and clean nature of Lapland and taking part on a Husky safari.

We will start from Levi ski rental to pick up a pair of skiing equipment and continue towards lake Levijärvi following a ski track. We will have a break and hot drinks at Luvattumaa. On the way to the Husky farm guide tells stories and facts about living in Lapland. At the farm we will go on a short safari with Huskies and learn lots of facts about the dogs. On the way back to Levi we will use a different route and again enjoy a good break with hot drinks.

Duration approx.: 4,5 hours.
Level of difficulty: the distance to ski is altogether about 25 kilometres. A good physical condition needed.
Guidance: guided.
Group size: at least 3 persons
Availability: daily for Groups of Contract.

Clothing: according to the weather; wind- and waterproof clothing suitable for skiing, gloves, a warm hat, some extra clothes to wear during the breaks.
Participation fee: 80 € / 65 € (if you have your own skiing equipment)
Fee includes: husky safari, skiing equipment if needed, catering and the guide’s services.
Languages: Finnish/English.
